När Lázaro började ifrågasätta bankerna blev han hotad. Enligt hoten skulle han bli mördad om han inte genast slutade hjälpa bönderna. Han var tvungen att fly för sitt liv.

När Colombia skrev frihandelsavtal med bland annat USA och EU utlovades mer handel, fler jobb och mindre fattigdom. Men de colombianska bönderna ser en annan verklighet.
